Grade 8 pupil, Kate-Lyn van Staden, from Pietermaritzburg Girls’ High School has been selected to compete in all disciplines in the inter-school SANESA Core League representing KwaZulu-Natal at Kayalami Park during the October 2017 holidays.

She will compete in Dressage, Equitation, Jumping on her horse Wakka Mamba and Jumping for her other horse Paragon.

Kate-Lyn belongs to the Ashburton Pony Club where all the branches of the Pony Club compete ride for KZN in Equitation and Jumping.

This is a huge achievement as she has worked hard riding every day after school in preparation.
