Pietermaritzburg Girls’ High School hosted the first ever KwaZulu-Natal Google For Education Summit facilitated by EdTech South Africa, during the first week of July. This two day event takes place in Cape Town and Johannesburg but has come to KZN for the first time this year. Educators from schools in and around KZN attended the event which was a great success. With Jay Atwood (extreme right), the EdTechTeam Regional Director for INdia, Middle East, Africa and Asia are GHS Grade 11 learners who helped out during the Summit (from left) Zolile Basi, Sithabile Chapi, Reece Marais, Luyanda Madlala and Zara Ismail.
